Our Services in Clifton Office

Our specialist family and divorce solicitors can supply expert legal advice and support throughout the divorce process. Our lawyers are qualified in collaborative law to get you the best possible result through low-conflict negotiations. Depend on us for clear and honest guidance for all your legal proceedings.

Financial Settlements

Dividing your assets during a divorce or separation can seem an overwhelming process, particularly when pensions or joint investments are involved. Our lawyers in Clifton can help you to achieve an accurate valuation and negotiate a fair settlement.

Children Arrangements

Whether you’re still working to negotiate the best agreement concerning your child’s care or your child’s other parent has broken an existing agreement, we can support you. As experts in family law, our solicitors have a wealth of experience in helping families find a way forward, putting your child’s wellbeing as a main priority.

Dissolution of Civil Partnerships

If your civil partnership is coming to an end, we can help you through every step of the legal process. Similar to divorce, there may be a wide range of agreements to be made and our team of solicitors can offer you clear guidance on how a good outcome can be achieved.

Pre-Nuptial & Post-Nuptial Agreements

Prenups can help you and your partner feel secure upon entering into a marriage, and they will often only be upheld when both parties have sought legal advice. Harbour Family Law can help to ensure that your agreement is fair and ensure that all parties fully understand what has been agreed.

If you are married or in a civil partnership, having a clear agreement about the future of your finances should you divorce or separate can give both parties peace of mind. Our accredited lawyers can give advice about what a fair division of assets may look like and help you to understand every aspect of your agreement.

Separation Deeds

Separation deeds can provide you with financial certainty during the period before formal divorce proceedings begin. Our specialists can assist with these financial agreements for a fixed fee.

Cohabitation Agreements

Moving in with a boyfriend or girlfriend is an exciting time, but it can put your property or finances at risk if they are worth significantly more than your partner’s. Formalising your financial relationship through a Living Together Agreement with a trained solicitor can protect you against uncertainty in the future.

You may appeal for an injunction if you have been harmed or if you have been threatened with physical violence by a romantic partner or family member. Our lawyers can offer fast, efficient advice to help you secure a court order protecting you and any children.

When you are dealing with emotionally driven matters that involve your children, all you want is to get the best advice that is easy to understand and gets the best outcome for everyone. Nicky came highly recommended to me for a reason - she is friendly, approachable, and 100% knows her stuff. Nicky put my mind at ease and I cannot thank her enough for that

We are committed to being open with every one of our clients from the first time we see them, so we will let you know if we think you would be better off approaching your matter from a different angle. By the end of the session, we will be able to give you an estimate of what the legal costs are likely to be for your case.
